Before deciding on a toy or mini Australian Shepherd as your next pet, please research the breed. Aussies are a herding breed which means they have a natural instinct to herd or chase and can be high energy. They generally do not make good apartment dogs, though there are some that are laid back couch potatoes, the majority are not. Also, Aussies love to be with their people. Of course they can't always be with us, but they do need a lot of attention from their family. Make sure you are prepared for training and the time that your Aussie will require. All of our puppies are sold as pets with a spay/neuter contract. We will sometimes allow breeding rights to approved breeders only. We try to match new owners with their new puppy based on their living arrangements, family members, and what they plan or want to do with their puppy. For instance, for an active family who hopes to do agility, I would suggest a more active, focused puppy. None of our adults are what I would consider high energy for an Aussie but we do occasionally have higher energy puppies. Adult temperament is impossible to predict 100% but we have a little bit of an idea at 5-6 weeks old. For this reason we don't accept deposits until 5 weeks of age so that we can try to match them with the perfect home.
All of our puppies are ASDR registrable, go home between 8-9 weeks old and will have age appropriate vaccines, several dewormings, microchipped, litterbox trained and vet checked. They all get a puppy kit sent home with them with a small bag of litter, food, a toy, and a binder with lots of information, health records, microchip information and registration application.

This is Tango's last litter, she will be spayed and retired in January. I decided to cross her with Hooey for her last litter because I love Hooeys personality and hoped to get a female with his great disposition.
